Adding and subtracting fractions

A deep-dive lesson on adding and subtracting fractions with the same and related denominators (WA6MNAC2). Students build from the big idea that only same-sized parts can be counted together: starting with same-denominator fluency, using equivalence and fraction walls to rename one fraction when denominators are related (e.g. thirds and sixths), and extending to mixed numbers, answers beyond one whole, and worded problems.
