It's Harvest Day in Burraga Hollow! The friends are gathering gumnuts, sharing them out, and running a little bush stall. Help them with the numbers along the way. Show your working — Biscuit loves to see how you think.

Part A — Place value

1. The friends counted 14 605 gumnuts this year. Write this number in words.

2. Partition 14 605 into ten-thousands, thousands, hundreds, tens and ones.

3. Order these gumnut counts from smallest to largest: 3 400, 14 605, 3 040, 9 870.

Part B — Adding & subtracting
