Explanation (Task 1). An in-class explanation under test conditions. Topic: the political responses to the Great Depression (Scullin and the Premiers' Plan, Lang's radical alternative, the 1931 Labor Split, and the path to recovery), including an assessment of their effectiveness. Official SCSA weighting: 10% of the Year 12 course (Explanation type weighting 20%).
