We do: matching needs to habitats

Let's work through one together, then you'll try the rest in your groups.

Together: the red kangaroo

As a class, let's match each need to its habitat (grassland and open plains).

Sentence stem to use: "The kangaroo gets its [need] from [part of habitat], because…"

Then in your group: sort your picture cards. For each animal, write one need-to-habitat link on your sorting mat.
