Use the report-structure diagram and a visual unit map to scaffold writing and review.
Colour-blocked report
Give each report section a colour (matching the deck's report-structure diagram): Question, Method, Results, Conclusion. Students draft onto a colour-blocked template so the four parts are visually distinct, and can see at a glance if a section is thin or missing.
Highlight the evidence link
In the conclusion, students highlight the phrase that links back to their results ("the results show…") so the evidence-to-conclusion link is visible — this is the part most likely to slip into opinion.
Unit mind-map
For the review, students build a one-page mind map: the unit in the centre, four arms to the big ideas, and key words hanging off each arm. The finished map is a visual revision sheet they keep.
