Explanation (Task 2). An in-class explanation completed in 60 minutes under test conditions. Topic: the economic changes that transformed Russia/the USSR to 1945 (War Communism, the NEP, the Great Turn, collectivisation and industrialisation, and their impact on peasants and factory workers). Official SCSA weighting: 10% of the Year 12 course (Explanation type weighting 20%).
