Quick recap: two more kinds of weathering, seen in action today.
🧪 Chemical: we'll drip vinegar (an acid) on limestone and watch it fizz and dissolve.
🌳 Biological: tree roots and mining break rock too.
Step 1: Once rock is broken into pieces, they move in three steps.
Erosion (picked up) → transportation (carried along) → deposition (dropped in a new place).
Step 2: Erosion can be a big problem for people.
Topsoil is the rich top layer of soil where plants grow. If wind or water erodes it away, farmers cannot grow food. 🌾
